I’m doing the Walk for Him
Every day, 49 Aussie men are diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Until recently we thought it was other men, other families. We hadn't had any thoughts about prostate cancer touching us. Rob's diagnosis was a shock, and a steep learning curve for both of us.
Rob is on the recovery road which is great for us. But so much more needs to be done to raise awareness, understanding, and help men (and their partners) navigate this awful experience.
That’s why I’m doing PCFA’s Walk for Him, raising awareness and funds for men with prostate cancer.
By doing 49,000 steps during Men’s Health Week from Monday June 13 to Sunday June 19, I’ll be contributing to more research, more nurses, more advocacy, and much greater awareness.
I can’t do this without your help - please donate if you can and help me complete 49,000 steps in the Walk for Him... or even walk with me.
