The First Day
Tuesday 10th Jun Well what a day to start the Challenge. Wollongong turned on its windiest early winter day for years with 50+ kmh winds along the foreshore. With the wind chill factor the apparent temperature was around 3 degrees C.
The Challenge Begins
Saturday 7th Jun On Monday the 9th June I have committed to starting this Challenge - Walk for Him in Memory of Michael. It is particularly challenging this year as I recently had some cancerous lesions removed from my right leg. Two of them were close together on my right shin requiring a skin graft. This has been healing at snail's pace and the treatment regime is to keep my leg elevated. Not ideal as I have not figured out how to walk with my leg elevated.Thank you to my sponsors

Well done Rod As a survivor (about 24 years) of an aggressive prostate cancer, which was only discovered due to my insistence on getting a PSA before taking a round Australia trip in our caravan.
