Step by step, study by study, we are closing in on a cure for prostate cancer.
Prostate cancer is Australia’s most commonly diagnosed cancer. 1 in 5 men are likely to be diagnosed in their lifetime. Behind that statistic are fathers, brothers, partners, sons, and mates.
That's why, this Men's Health Week, the Mechanisms in Cell Biology and Disease Research Group (MICBAD) from the College of Health, Adelaide University is lacing up and joining forces with fellow research groups, friends and family to make every step count.
We're proudly walking in support of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, whose work directly funds the research needed to detect and defeat this disease. Every dollar raised helps power new discoveries, including the kind happening right here in our labs and across Adelaide.
Will you donate today and help fund the research taking strides to beat prostate cancer?
