I’m making strides in the fight to save lives.
Prostate cancer is Australia’s most commonly diagnosed cancer. 1 in 5 men are likely to be diagnosed by 85.
In March 2022, I became that 1 in 5 when my Urologist said “it’s cancer” while I was in recovery from the Biopsy. My life changed instantly. Scans, tests, hormone suppression therapy, chemotherapy, surgery, radiation therapy and still it continues.
I believe that I have been very lucky considering my diagnosis. I could be in much worse shape. Therefore, I am walking for better outcomes for those yet to endure this journey.
That’s why, this Men’s Health Week, I’m making every step count.
