Men’s Health Week.
I’m making strides in the fight to save lives.
Prostate cancer is Australia’s most commonly diagnosed cancer. 1 in 5 men are likely to be diagnosed by 85.
This year, I will be walking to raise money for further prostate cancer research.
I walk in support of those who have survived, those we have lost, and the families who continue to stand beside them. For me, this cause is deeply personal. It includes my husband, his father, and my uncle.
Over the past five years, since my husband’s diagnosis, treatment, and recovery, I have also supported other men and their families as they navigated their own diagnoses. I have shared advice, experiences, and support based on what my family has learned through this journey.
Prostate cancer affects so many families, and continued research is vital to improving treatment, early detection, and ultimately working towards a future with zero deaths from prostate cancer.
If you are able to donate, even a small contribution can help make a difference. Thank you for supporting this important cause.
Happy walking for a good cause
