We're taking strides to save men’s lives.
My father Patrick Holmes passed away in 2022 after losing his battle with cancer. This Men’s Health Week, my boy Memphis, my partner Natalie and I are walking in his memory as part of the Walk for Him challenge, raising funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
We are walking for families who have lost someone. We are walking for the men who are fighting right now. And we are walking for the research that will one day detect and defeat this disease before it takes anyone else.
Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian men. 1 in 5 men will be diagnosed by the age of 85. Every dollar raised helps fund the research that changes outcomes for families like ours.
Memphis, Natalie and I will be walking and updating our progress throughout Men’s Health Week, 15–21 June. If this resonates with you, even a small donation means the world.
For Patrick. For every family going through this.
